Studio Mir, a leading animation production company in South Korea led by CEO Yoo Jaemyung, announced on May 13 that it has signed a production contract with global entertainment company Paramount and will begin work on a major new content project.
Studio Mir shared this news through a public disclosure on May 12. With this contract, the company will collaborate on content production with another major global content group, following its previous partnerships with global online video service (OTT) companies such as Netflix and Disney Plus. Industry observers note that by securing consecutive collaborations with top-tier global entertainment companies, Studio Mir has once again demonstrated its stature as a Korean animation studio on the world stage.
A Studio Mir representative stated, "We were able to establish this partnership with Paramount thanks to Studio Mir’s production capabilities, which span the entire process from planning to directing," and added, "This project will be on a different scale and carry more weight than our previous works."
