The Department of K-Sports Taekwondo at Dongmyung University has recently attracted attention by achieving outstanding results at the 52nd National University Taekwondo Individual Championship.

The women's three-member team, consisting of Kim Hyewon (second year), Kim Gawon (second year), and Choi Yena (first year), won 3rd place overall in the women's university division.
This achievement is especially significant because it was accomplished by a newly established department among approximately 30 Taekwondo-related university departments nationwide.
By surpassing strong teams from various universities and earning a place on the podium, the department demonstrated its rapid growth and the exceptional skills of its students.
In addition, at this championship, students Kim Hyewon, Hong Minju, and Park Soyoung were appointed as members of the University Taekwondo Federation press corps, showcasing their talents in various fields. This confirmed that they are demonstrating their capabilities not only in practical skills but also in media and public relations.
