'ID check' Based on ID Card and Facial Recognition Unveiled
Features Foreigner Authentication and AML Monitoring
AI-based identity verification platform company ARGOS Identity (CEO Lee Wonkyu) will participate in the 8th International Artificial Intelligence Exhibition (AI EXPO KOREA 2025), which will be held at COEX in Seoul for three days starting from May 14, and will showcase its integrated authentication service, 'ID check'.

According to Argos on May 13, 'ID check' is a non-face-to-face identity verification solution that combines ID card and facial recognition technology. It supports one-person, one-account authentication and has also been applied to foreigner identity verification. Based on this, Argos is expanding its authentication service business targeting foreigners.
At this exhibition, Argos will introduce collaboration cases with various industries such as prepaid electronic payments, telecommunications, and distribution, and will propose new possibilities for application.
'ID check' offers real-time setting changes, an API that can be integrated within a day, and an intuitive administrator interface. It is equipped with a security system that complies with global regulations such as GDPR, and also supports non-face-to-face anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring and user-customized features.
Argos previously collaborated with Kakao Entertainment to operate a ticket reservation authentication system for foreigners, and stated that it was also effective in preventing illegal reservations such as ticket scalping.
