Strengthening On-site Support for SMEs
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on May 13, 2025, that it had signed a business agreement with Soongsil University at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have decided to strengthen support for the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by cooperating in the operation of SME education programs (AMP), jointly conducting research and development (R&D) and sharing experimental equipment, and developing and promoting policies for SMEs and small business owners.
Going forward, the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business will actively utilize Soongsil University faculty members in AMP education, and will expand mutual personnel exchanges by offering AMP tuition discounts to graduates of Soongsil University's Graduate School of Small and Medium Business.
Soongsil University will also be given the opportunity to participate in cooperative R&D projects in the form of a consortium, and the equipment held by Soongsil University's Shared Equipment Center will be made available for cooperative testing and certification projects at a 50% discounted rate.
Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, "Through this agreement, we expect to create synergy in various fields, including SME policy, technological innovation, and talent development."
