Uljugun in Ulsan Launches "Visiting Reading Culture Program" to Revitalize Small Libraries

Uljugun in Ulsan is operating a "Visiting Reading Culture Program" to promote reading culture at small libraries in the region.

From June to August, Uljugun will offer a variety of reading and cultural experience programs for both public and private small libraries.

This program has been prepared to support small libraries that have difficulty planning or operating their own programs, and to expand opportunities for local residents to enjoy cultural experiences.

According to the operation plan, a total of nine courses?including five programs for children and four for adults?will be held over 40 sessions.

The main programs include picnic cookie making, craft art experiences, making small garden terrariums, and children's puppet shows.

An official from Uljugun stated, "We hope that the Visiting Reading Culture Program will help small libraries become community-centered spaces for reading culture," adding, "We will continue to support residents so they can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences close to their daily lives."
