Exchange of Livestock Policies, Sharing of Best Practices
Joint Planning of Policy Ideas and More
Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on May 13 that it had visited its sister city, Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province, and signed an agreement for mutual cooperation in the livestock sector.
This agreement originated from discussions between the livestock departments of both local governments?Hapcheon County's Livestock Division and Jangsu County's Livestock Hygiene Division?regarding mutual exchange of Hometown Love Donations. Based on their shared focus on livestock, these discussions led to an official agreement between the institutions to promote further development and growth.
The signing ceremony served as a platform for policy exchange, featuring presentations on Hapcheon County's "Livestock Odor Improvement Project" and Jangsu County's "Low-Carbon Korean Beef Industry Zone Project." Moving forward, the two counties plan to actively collaborate in several areas, including: ▲promoting mutual exchange of Hometown Love Donations ▲publicizing regional specialty products ▲exchanging livestock policies ▲sharing best practices ▲jointly planning policy ideas. Through these efforts, practical mutual development between the local governments is anticipated.
Additionally, a mutual donation event for the Hometown Love Donation Program was held, with each local government donating 1 million won to the other, helping to foster a culture of giving.
Kim Yooncheol, the county governor, stated, "I hope this agreement will go beyond simple exchanges to achieve practical cooperation and benchmarking, and I look forward to continued policy collaboration for mutual development between the regions."
