The Muan County Family Center was recognized for its active response during the December 29 passenger plane accident last year, when it deployed dedicated staff and child caregivers at the airport site to operate emergency care services, thereby addressing care gaps caused by funeral procedures and accident recovery efforts.

The center also received high praise for its ongoing awareness campaigns and educational programs promoting respect for family diversity, as well as for operating employment schools for marriage migrant women, which have contributed to spreading an equal family culture and supporting the stable settlement of multicultural families.

Kim San, the county governor, stated, "We will continue to respect the diversity of families and expand customized services tailored to their characteristics, actively supporting the family center so that everyone can build a healthy family."

Meanwhile, at the end of last year, the Muan County Family Center relocated to the Muan County Complex Culture Center, where it now operates alongside facilities such as the Shared Childcare Center and the All Together Care Center, further strengthening its role as a hub for family welfare.

The center plans to continue its efforts to improve the quality of life for county residents and to foster a healthy family culture through customized counseling and education for each family type, child care support projects, and various other family support programs.
