Introduction of 34 Coffee Brands
Nam-gu District of Daegu announced that it will host the '2025 Daegu Apsan Coffee Festival' at the Nam-gu Citizens' Sports Plaza over two days, from May 17 to May 18.
Nam-gu District is organizing the Apsan Coffee Festival in conjunction with the Apsan Festival to promote the Apsan Cafe Street and Apsan Matdulle-gil, as well as to revitalize the local dining industry.
This year's festival will feature coffee companies not only from the Daegu region but also from other areas such as Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do. A total of 34 coffee brands will be introduced, and various coffee products will be showcased. In addition, all participating coffee companies will hold Americano discount events to allow visitors to enjoy coffee at affordable prices. A variety of bakeries and desserts that pair well with coffee will be sold, and QR codes will be provided to offer detailed information about the participating businesses.
In particular, there will be coffee experience booths where visitors can explore the diverse flavors of different coffee beans, including a coffee talk show hosted by Ahn Myungkyu, CEO of Coffee Myungga, as well as activities such as discovering your own coffee preferences and hand-drip coffee experiences.
Furthermore, the Daegu Nam-gu branch of the Korea Bakery Association will bake bread on-site in ovens and sell it at affordable prices.
This festival, held in conjunction with the Daegu Apsan Festival, will offer a variety of stage programs, climbing experiences, romantic food stalls, flea markets, beauty experiences, eco-friendly playgrounds, and more. It promises to be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy not only coffee but also a wide range of sights, foods, and activities.
