Ansan City to Conduct Second Preference Survey
for "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots" Until May 23
On May 12, the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will conduct a second preference survey to select the "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots," which represent the city's top tourist attractions, targeting all citizens nationwide until May 23.
This survey will be conducted for nine candidate sites that were selected through the first round of the survey. Participants can join the survey by accessing an online questionnaire via a QR code.
In the previous first-round survey conducted by the city, a total of nine locations were selected: Kim Hongdo-gil, Daebu Mine Sedimentary Rock Layer, Badahyanggi Arboretum, Bugok Forest Bath, Industrial History Museum, Suam Peak and Ansan Eupseong, Choi Yongshin Memorial Hall, Lake Park and Mugunghwa Hill, and Hwarang Recreation Area.
The city explained that, in particular, the second survey will expand the number of sites by three, aiming to broaden Ansan's tourism resources across various themes such as history, culture, nature, and industry. Based on the survey results, the city will finalize and announce the "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots" at the end of next month after a review by the selection committee.
