Previously, at the beginning of last year, Hwahae announced its 'Hwahae 2.0' mission, stating that 'the smart choices of beauty consumers drive brand growth.' The company carried out a rebranding and changed its brand identity (BI), declaring its ambition to become a K-beauty acceleration platform.
In November last year, Hwahae launched a global English web version featuring core functions such as the Hwahae Awards and rankings. In February this year, it introduced a Japanese version, creating a structure that is accessible to overseas consumers.
Hwahae plans to further solidify its position as a K-beauty acceleration platform by launching a global influencer marketing service and expanding its B2B business, aiming to create ongoing success stories for K-beauty brands.
Lee Woong, CEO of Hwahae Global, said, "This company name change will be an important turning point for Hwahae as it evolves from a domestic to a global beauty platform," adding, "We will continue to develop growth models that enable K-beauty brands to exert influence in the global market."
