Plus Extra Benefits with Kakao Pay
Kakao Pay announced on May 12 that it will participate in Agoda's 20th anniversary discount event, offering exclusive additional benefits through a special promotion.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary on May 19, Agoda will hold a discount event, offering up to 60% off from May 7 to May 20, and up to 70% off for one day only on May 21.
Kakao Pay users will receive additional benefits. Throughout this month, users who search for 'Agoda' on Kakao Pay and make a reservation through the exclusive booking page using Kakao Pay will receive an extra 11% discount, up to a maximum of $100.
Additionally, for those who pay 60,000 KRW or more with Kakao Pay Money, the first 3,000 users each day will receive an instant additional discount of 1,000 KRW.
Kakao Pay and Agoda signed a business agreement in November last year to create synergy. Since then, they have been providing customized Agoda promotion information based on Kakao Pay payment data and MyData. The number of Kakao Pay MyData subscribers recently surpassed 20 million, making it the largest in Korea.
