Samjong KPMG Launches AI-Based 'Smart Information Security Disclosure Automation Platform'

Samjong KPMG announced on May 12 that it will launch its artificial intelligence (AI)-based 'Smart Information Security Disclosure Automation Platform' on May 14.

This platform is characterized by its automation of complex tasks using AI-based keyword classification technology. It automatically identifies information security-related items from accounting data and quickly extracts and processes information needed for calculating personnel expenses.

Samjong KPMG stated, "Companies subject to information security disclosure obligations have so far invested significant time and manpower in accurately classifying information security-related items from vast accounting ledgers and calculating personnel expenses for those in charge." The company added, "With this platform, we expect to reduce the time required for preparing information security disclosures by up to 90% compared to the previous process." They continued, "We also expect to dramatically reduce costs, and we plan to offer a SaaS-based subscription service in the future so that companies can utilize the platform independently."
