On May 11, at New Korea Country Club (par 72, 6,387 yards) in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, she shot a 3-under-par 69 in the final third round of the Aramco Championship (total prize money: $2 million), clinching victory by two strokes with a total score of 7-under-par 209. Following last year, she once again claimed the title at this event. The winner's prize is $225,000 (approximately 310 million won). Earlier this year, Hyojoo Kim won the LPGA Tour Ford Championship in March and finished runner-up after a playoff at the major Chevron Championship in April.


Chiara Tamburlini of Switzerland finished as runner-up with a score of 5-under-par 211. National team reserve Park Seojin (Seomun Girls' High School) surged to third place with a remarkable 7-under-par 65, finishing at 4-under-par 212. Lee-Anne Pace of South Africa dropped one stroke and finished tied for fourth at 2-under-par 214. National team member Choi Jeongwon (Korea National Sport University) finished tied for 17th at 1-over-par 217, while Park Sunghyun ended the tournament tied for 40th at 5-over-par 221.
