At the scene, Democratic Party Representative Park Ji Won (Haenam, Wando, Jindo), who had arrived earlier, and about 500 supporters created an enthusiastic atmosphere, waving blue balloons and placards and chanting "Lee Jae Myung." Representative Park has been actively supporting Lee by traveling throughout the region every day to help secure his presidential victory.
In his speech supporting Lee, Park stated, "Candidate Lee Jae Myung seems as if former President Kim Dae Jung has been reborn," and stressed, "DJ faced many schemes and attacks in the past, but ultimately became the most outstanding president in history."
He went on to say, "Lee Jae Myung is following in Kim Dae Jung's footsteps," and appealed for support, saying, "I believe he will become the most successful president. Please be sure to vote."
Starting at 9:45 a.m. in Hwasun, Jeollanam-do, Lee visited Gangjin-eup, Haenam-eup, and Yeongam-gun in succession, carefully gauging public sentiment in the Honam region. With this visit, Lee officially concluded all schedules of his "Alley-to-Alley Listening Tour," during which he traveled across the country to listen to the voices of the people.
Through the Listening Tour, Lee directly heard the opinions of local residents in each region, used these insights to shape policy directions, and continued to pursue practical, people-focused initiatives.
