Yoon Yeojoon: "This Presidential Election Is to Judge Yoon Sukyeol and His Followers"

"Privatizing Power Through Shamanism and Delusion"

Yoon Yeojoon, the Standing Chief Campaign Committee Chair of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated on the 11th, "This presidential election is an election to sternly judge Yoon Sukyeol and his followers," adding, "We must seriously reflect on why this early presidential election has occurred, hold those responsible accountable, and establish the will to overcome their wrongdoings in order to move toward the future."

At a press conference held at the party's central headquarters in Yeouido that day, Yoon said, "The presidential election is an election to judge, in the name of democracy, the forces that defended the 12·3 Martial Law and opposed impeachment, the forces that fell into shamanism and delusion, privatized power, and manipulated state affairs, and the forces that sought personal gain by aligning themselves with this illegal and unjust power."

Yoon emphasized, "This election must be one in which we pledge to the future with a determination to judge and renew, in response to the policy failures and corrupt and abnormal conduct of the Yoon Sukyeol administration over the past three years."

Yoon stated, "We will conduct an election that prioritizes the economy and people's livelihoods, emphasizing listening, unity, and communication," and added, "We will unite the people through a centrist and pragmatic approach."

Yoon said, "What is needed now is neither a fight for positions nor outdated ideological debates," and stressed, "We must listen to the voices of the people in their daily lives and adjust the course of the Republic of Korea in the direction the people desire."
