[Breaking] People Power Party Registers Presidential Candidate at 3 a.m.... Han Ducksoo Sole Applicant

On May 10, the People Power Party announced that Han Ducksoo, a presidential preliminary candidate, had registered as the sole presidential candidate.

The Presidential Candidate Election Management Committee of the People Power Party reported that, as a result of the registration process, only Han had registered as a candidate.

Since there is only one candidate, it appears that the People Power Party will select its candidate through a party-wide vote in the form of a yes-or-no ballot.

Previously, the People Power Party had announced the cancellation of the nomination of Kim Moonsoo, who had been selected as the presidential candidate at the party convention.

Subsequently, from 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on this day, the People Power Party received applications for party membership verification and other documents, and proceeded with the candidate registration at the main building of the National Assembly.

On this day, Han applied for membership in the People Power Party and was admitted after approval by the Emergency Response Committee.
