Gmarket Launches 80 Million Won Promotion for 'Big Smile Day' Membership Holders

Exclusive Prize Giveaways and Special Deals for Membership Holders

Gmarket, the e-commerce platform under Shinsegae Group, announced on May 11 that it has prepared exclusive benefits for 'Shinsegae Universe Club' membership holders to celebrate the ongoing 'Big Smile Day' event, which runs until May 13. These benefits include prize giveaways worth a total of 80 million won and special membership-only deals.

First, seven winners will be selected daily by lottery to receive digital home appliances, which are steady sellers during Big Smile Day, for free. The prizes include a variety of items such as robot vacuum cleaners, clothing care appliances, and air purifiers.

The prize offered on this day is a Roborock S9 robot vacuum cleaner valued at 1.84 million won. On May 12, a PlayStation 5 PRO will be given away, followed by a Rimowa Essential Cabin Carry-on on May 13. Membership holders who have made a purchase on Gmarket on the day of entry are eligible to participate in the event once per day.

There are also special membership-only deals available. Notably, 'Compose Coffee Iced Americano' is being offered at an exclusive club price of 1,100 won. This deal is limited to 100,000 units on a first-come, first-served basis, and each ID can purchase one during the event period.

Special bouquet deals for Family Month have also been prepared. A 'Seasonal Flower Bouquet' including peonies is available for 8,960 won. In addition, exclusive membership prices are offered on items such as Yellow Balloon travel packages, official Starbucks MD products, Harim Pet Food, Megabox movie tickets, and Star Delivery club-only deals.

The nationwide shopping festival Big Smile Day runs until May 13 on both Gmarket and Auction. As the largest event of the first half of the year, it offers unlimited issuance of three types of discount coupons worth up to 200,000 won each, up to 25% additional brand discounts, and a 7% card payment discount.
