Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will begin accepting applications for its "Summer Vacation English Camp" for local elementary and middle school students on a first-come, first-served basis from May 22 to May 30.
This camp will be held in a residential format at Gyeonggi Foreign Language High School in Uiwang City, running for 10 days and 9 nights from July 23 to August 1.
The program, based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, is designed not only to improve English proficiency but also to foster international thinking and communication skills. The city will subsidize 1 million won, which is 50% of the participation fee.
The camp is open to a total of 50 students: 30 fifth and sixth graders from elementary schools and 20 first to third graders from middle schools in Osan City. Applications will be accepted via email on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected participants will be announced on June 11 through the Osan City Hall website and by text message.
