Busan Urban Corporation Achieves Both Special Grade for Ultra-High-Speed Information and Communication Building and AAA Grade for Home Network Building in Eco Delta City Public Housing

Busan Urban Corporation (BMC) has taken the lead in creating an advanced smart residential environment by simultaneously obtaining the "Special Grade Certification for Ultra-High-Speed Information and Communication Buildings" and the "AAA Grade Certification for Home Network Buildings" for the public housing units in Eco Delta City 19·20BL.

The "Ultra-High-Speed Information and Communication Building Certification System" is a system certified by the Korea Association for ICT Promotion (KAIT) based on standards set by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Central Radio Management Service. It evaluates the level of ultra-high-speed information and communication network infrastructure within buildings and assigns grades accordingly.

The "Home Network Building Certification System" assesses the level of smart home technology applied, where various devices within and between households are interconnected based on information and communication technology. This certification is awarded to buildings that highly realize user safety, convenience, and energy efficiency.

The highest grades?Special Grade and AAA Grade?are awarded to apartments that meet the following criteria: integration of nine or more home network devices; remote control of gas, lighting, and heating via mobile apps, exceeding the existing AA Grade standards; device expandability through integration with five or more products from different manufacturers; and passing security inspections by KISA.

Additionally, through security inspections by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), efforts were focused on stabilizing home IoT devices such as smart device apps, wall pads, and digital door locks. Security for apartment residents has been further enhanced by applying the latest security patches to server inspections and firewalls installed within the complex.

Busan Urban Corporation proactively incorporated information and communication infrastructure and smart home technology from the planning stage of the project guidelines, and comprehensively reviewed the security, user convenience, and sustainable maintenance of the home network system. As a result, the corporation achieved the highest grades in certification.
