Operation of Practical Real Estate Investment Course
Dongmyung University Lifelong Education Center was recently selected as the operating institution for the "2025 Busan Citizens' University Campus Department" project, organized by the Busan Women's Family and Lifelong Education Promotion Agency.
The center will run a Practical Real Estate Investment course, providing practical education on real estate and finance to Busan citizens entering a super-aged society, to help them prepare for a stable retirement.
The faculty consists of top experts, including current university professors, tax accountants, and judicial scriveners.
The first semester (May to July) will offer Practical Real Estate Investment Department I, and the second semester (September to November) will offer Practical Real Estate Investment Department II. Classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Each semester is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and any Busan citizen may enroll. There is no tuition fee.
The first semester will cover topics such as auctions, NPL, real estate, commercial property investment, and commercial district analysis. The second semester will focus on land development, tax law, and redevelopment/reconstruction investment.
The first lecture, scheduled for May 26, will be "Understanding Auction/NPL" by Professor Park Sangho, an expert in real estate auctions.
Applications for the first semester can be submitted starting May 12 on the Busan Citizens' University website or the Dongmyung University Lifelong Education Center website.
Professor Park Youngsook, who is in charge of the course, stated, "We aim to provide practical financial education that can be used for a lifetime, and we will do our best to offer a total solution for lifelong learning and lifelong financial management in a super-aged society."
