Ansan City to Recruit Water Supply Construction Service Agencies on May 26-27

Water Supply and Leak Repair Services Delegated

On May 9, the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will publicly recruit "water supply construction service agencies" for two days from May 26 to 27.

This public recruitment is being conducted because the designation of the current water supply construction service agencies will expire on June 30 of the following month.

Through this recruitment, five agencies will be selected. Eligible applicants are companies that hold a water and sewage facility construction business license under the Framework Act on the Construction Industry and fully meet the city's criteria for designation as a water supply construction service agency.

The city will conduct on-site inspections and other evaluations for the applicant companies, and will select the agencies in June. Once selected, the agencies will be responsible for handling the city's water supply construction and leak repair works for three years, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028. For urgent leak repairs, the city will be divided into five zones, with each agency responsible for one zone.
