Asan City to Launch Two New City Bus Routes Starting May 19

Routes 1200 and 540
Connecting Dunpo and Baebang

On May 9, the city of Asan in South Chungcheong Province announced that it will launch two new city bus routes (No. 1200 and No. 540) starting from May 19.

This launch is aimed at improving public transportation accessibility in the Dunpo and Umbong areas.

Route 1200 will connect Dunpo to Tangjeong and Baebang, serving as a community-focused line that covers major residential areas, industrial complexes, and schools. It will operate seven round trips per day.

Route 540 will connect Dunpo Central Park to Pyeongtaek Terminal, operating ten round trips per day.

An official from the public transportation department stated, "By introducing new routes that reflect citizen demand, we are improving the transportation network between regions," and added, "We will continue to expand transportation services to meet the expectations of our citizens."
