LG Innotek Holds University Student YouTube Short-Form Advertising Contest Awards Ceremony

Six Award-Winning Works to Be Released on the Official YouTube Channel

LG Innotek announced on May 9 that it held the awards ceremony for the '2025 University Student YouTube Short-Form Advertising Contest'.

The company has been holding an annual contest for university students since 2021 to enhance its brand image. This year, participants were invited to submit YouTube Shorts videos themed around LG Innotek's new brand identity, 'ENABLE THE NEXT (Realizing the new future envisioned by customers)', and the brand slogan, 'YOUR ASPIRATION, OUR INNOVATION (Your future, our innovation is the answer)'.


A total of 84 teams, comprising 213 participants, entered the YouTube contest, which began in February. The final judging was conducted through online voting by LG Innotek employees. Based on the number of votes, one team was awarded the Grand Prize, one team received the Excellence Prize, two teams were given the Merit Prize, and two teams received the Encouragement Prize.


The Grand Prize went to Park Yoonjung (23) from Sahmyook University and Kim Haeun (24) from Sookmyung Women's University. They submitted 'Hotek's Future', a work based on the concept of 'Hotek's Dream of Loving the Future'. This entry humorously personified the future of LG Innotek and its customers as children, effectively conveying the company's brand identity and slogan. It was also praised for its creative depiction of LG Innotek's core future technologies in the optical and automotive electronics sectors.


LG Innotek will award prize money to the winning teams, with 3 million won for the Grand Prize and 2 million won for the Excellence Prize. The six winning works and interviews with each winning team will be available on LG Innotek's official YouTube channel next month.


Meanwhile, LG Innotek is actively operating its official YouTube channel, 'LG Innotek', to enhance brand awareness and communicate with the MZ generation. The channel features a variety of videos, including brand films, company introduction videos, and entertaining content about products, technologies, recruitment, and organizational culture.
