Recruitment Open Until the 16th: 30 Unemployed Young Residents of Guro District Aged 19 to 39 to Be Selected
Integrated (One-Stop) Employment Support: From Practical Marketing Training to Internships and Full-Time Job Placement
Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) will continue the "G-Valley Model Guro Youth Work Experience Support Project" this year, following last year's initiative, to provide practical job training for young people and connect them with employment opportunities.
The "G-Valley Model Guro Youth Work Experience Support Project" is a program that targets unemployed youth in the region, offering customized job training in G-Valley’s specialized industries, such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital industries. The program aims to strengthen job competencies required by companies and provides integrated (one-stop) support for both internships and full-time employment placement.
This year, the project will focus on a specialized training course in "AI Digital Marketing" and connect participants with internships at related companies, aiming to help them acquire essential job skills for the digital era.
Eligible applicants are unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 who reside in Guro District. They can apply by scanning the QR code on the promotional notice by May 16, completing the application form they receive, and submitting it via email.
The 30 final participants, selected through interviews, will complete a three-month marketing practical project-based training program from May 26 to August 20. Afterward, they will receive support throughout a three-month internship and the process of transitioning to full-time employment.
In addition, if participants are not converted to full-time positions after their internships, they will receive follow-up support, including a second matching opportunity with other companies.
Furthermore, participating companies will receive wage subsidies for interns for three months and up to 1 million KRW as a hiring incentive if they convert interns to full-time employees.
For more details, inquiries can be made on the Guro District Office website or by contacting the Employment Support Division.
Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, "I hope this project will provide young people with opportunities to design their careers and secure real employment, while also helping companies secure practical talent. We will continue to do our best to create mutually beneficial jobs that enable both youth and companies to grow together."
