Jeju Air Offers Up to 7% Off on Philippines Routes for Summer Peak Season

Up to 30,000 KRW Extra Discount When Paying with Kakao Pay Money

Jeju Air announced on May 8 that it will launch a discounted airfare promotion for its routes to the Philippines ahead of the summer peak season.

The promotion offers up to 7% off airfares for flights to the Philippines available for boarding from June 1 to August 31. In addition, customers who pay with Kakao Pay Money can receive an extra discount of up to 30,000 KRW. The promotion is available until May 31.

Furthermore, Jeju Air members who make purchases of 70 USD or more at Lotte Internet Duty Free using Kakao Pay Money will receive a 7 USD discount. Customers who make purchases of at least 1 USD will also have a chance to win a Cebu resort accommodation voucher through a drawing.

By utilizing Jeju Air's sports membership, customers can transport sports equipment such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking gear with unlimited weight up to 20 kg for an annual fee of 149,000 KRW. The ongoing sports festival, which runs until May 19, can be used to take advantage of this offer.

A Jeju Air representative stated, "We have proactively launched this promotion for customers planning their summer vacations," adding, "Travelers can enjoy a cost-effective trip not only with discounted airfares but also with benefits at duty-free shops and through our sports membership."

Meanwhile, according to statistics from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Aviation Information Portal System, Jeju Air transported 200,125 passengers (16.2%) out of the total 1,236,694 passengers on Korea-Philippines routes in the first quarter of this year, ranking first among domestic low-cost carriers (LCCs). Jeju Air currently operates a total of seven routes: Incheon to Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Bohol; Busan to Cebu and Bohol; and Daegu to Cebu.
