On this afternoon, at the Vocational Headquarters Livelihood Policy Agreement Ceremony held at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business in Yeouido, Seoul, Lee stated, "When those gathered here take good care of their respective roles, it ultimately strengthens the Korean community."
He said, "I think politics is like farming. You prepare thoroughly in advance, and then harvest when the election season comes. I believe the final outcome depends on how diligently you prepare and cultivate."
He continued, "Just as in farming, in politics, you need to build relationships and prepare well in advance so that you can reap the rewards during elections. If the Democratic Party is to take charge of managing the country, it must consistently build good relationships with various vocational organizations, discuss and reflect their needs in legislation or national policy, and carry out the necessary work on a regular basis."
