There have been multiple eyewitness accounts of Hollywood star Tom Cruise being spotted in places such as Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, during his visit to Korea for the first time in two years. He is visiting to promote "Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning" (Mission Impossible 8), which is set to be released on May 17. This marks his twelfth visit to Korea, starting with the release of "Interview with the Vampire" in 1994.

On May 7, Tom Cruise arrived at Gimpo International Airport on a private jet at around 4:20 p.m. He appeared at the airport exit at approximately 5:15 p.m., greeted fans for about 20 minutes, and then left the airport.

During his visit to Korea two years ago, there were also numerous sightings of Cruise across Seoul, from the food alley in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu to the Gyeongui Line Forest Park near Gongdeok Station. It is known that he responded to citizens' requests for photos with his signature smile.
