The construction of the Seounmyeon Administrative Welfare Center, which cost a total of 12 billion won, began in February last year and has now been completed. The new building was constructed on a 3,042-square-meter site, with one basement floor and two above-ground floors, and has a total floor area of 21,069 square meters.
The first floor of the building will be used for the civil affairs office, a public health branch, and a small library. The second floor is equipped with a large conference room, a multipurpose cultural space, and a shared meeting room, allowing for a variety of community activities.
The city expects that the new building will not only provide comfortable and efficient civil services but also serve as a space for communication and harmony among residents.
A city official stated, "The new building has been designed not only for administrative functions but also as a space for communication and leisure in residents' daily lives," adding, "We will work to improve the quality of life for local residents and provide better administrative services."
