Jeonju City to Host 'Jeongdam Dadam' Garden Tea Talk Show on May 11

Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province will host the Garden Tea Talk Show 'Jeonju Jeongdam (庭談) Dadam (茶談), Jeonju Garden Stories Blossom' at 2 p.m. on May 11 at the main stage of the Garden Industry Expo venue in Jeonju World Cup Plaza.

According to the city on May 8, the talk show will be hosted by comedian Kim Mihwa, who is known for her love of plants, and Kim Seunggyu, CEO of Sangseon Landscape Architecture. The panel will feature Kim Bongchan, CEO of The Garden and Beke Garden; Kang Junghwa, director of Hantaek Botanical Garden; Lee Hoyoung, director of HLD; An Gisoo, director of SPACEMAKERA1; and Son Yonghun, professor at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University.

These experts will share stories from their respective fields of garden-related work, discuss cases they wish to share, and talk about current trends in gardens, flowers, and plants. In addition, there will be an on-the-spot 'Garden Q&A' session, where citizens interested in gardens and Green Gardeners can ask questions and receive immediate answers from relevant experts. Participation in this talk show is limited to 100 people by advance reservation, and interested citizens and visitors can apply through the official expo website.

A city official stated, "We have prepared a talk show where beloved garden storytellers will share the latest garden trends and stories over a cup of tea," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of all those who are passionate about gardening."

Meanwhile, the 5th Jeonju Garden Industry Expo will be held in the Jeonju World Cup Plaza area from the opening ceremony on May 9 until May 13.
