Up to 300,000 Won Support...
Short-term Workers Employed Less Than One Year Also Eligible
Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the "Gyeonggi Youth Capacity Building Opportunity Support Project," which provides financial assistance for language and certification exam fees for unemployed young adults, until November 30.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in Icheon as of the application date and are unemployed at the time of the exam. Those who are employed as short-term workers for less than one year are also considered unemployed and are eligible for support.
The scope of support covers a total of 1,004 types of exams, including 19 language exams, 1 Korean history exam, 540 national technical certifications, 347 national professional certifications, and 97 nationally accredited private certifications. Among national professional certifications, only the Type 1 special driver's license is supported for automobile driving licenses.
Support of up to 300,000 won per person is available for exams taken between December 1 of last year and November of this year, regardless of whether the applicant received support last year, the number of times they took exams, or the number of applications submitted.
Interested individuals can apply through "Jobaba Apply," the integrated application system of the Gyeonggi Job Foundation. Financial support will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
