With this move, key departments such as sales, marketing, and management support have relocated to Yeoksam, marking the beginning of a new "Yeoksam era." Yeoksam is a symbolic area where Yogiyo experienced rapid early growth. Yogiyo explained that this return after approximately six years represents both a return to its roots and the start of a new challenge.
Yeoksam is an area with a high floating population and a well-developed dining-out business district, making both delivery demand and dining-out consumption very active. The company stated that it is an optimal location where customer trends can be directly experienced and responded to quickly. In particular, Yeoksam is a key pilot area where Yogiyo is actually operating its robot delivery service, gaining attention as a food tech testbed that connects digital platforms with offline demonstrations.
Yogiyo has decided to leave its research and development department at Seocho Majesta City, maintaining a dual structure so that the headquarters and the research center can each focus in the optimal environment for their respective functions. The company also plans to continue strengthening its collaboration system so that technological advancement and business execution can be closely linked at each site.
Kwon Taeseop and Cho Hyungkwon, co-CEOs of Yogiyo, stated, "This relocation of our headquarters is a new starting point for us to listen more closely to our customers and to become a more agile organization," adding, "With a renewed spirit of challenge in the vibrant IT hub of Yeoksam, we will create new growth opportunities for Yogiyo."
