Yeongju City Public Health Center Recruiting Participants for Mobile Healthcare Project to Prevent Chronic Diseases

For Adults Under 65 Without Chronic Diseases
Program Runs from May to November

The Yeongju City Public Health Center (Director Kim Moonsoo) will recruit 50 citizens on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in the '2025 Mobile Healthcare Project' from May 12 to May 15.

The Mobile Healthcare Project is a non-face-to-face health management program utilizing smart technology. A professional team from the public health center?including nurses, nutritionists, exercise specialists, and coordinators?will provide customized health consultations and education for six months.

Participants will use the 'Chaeum Health' smartphone app and a smartwatch to enter data such as step count, heart rate, meal records, and exercise logs. Based on this data, they will receive regular feedback from experts and guidance on improving their lifestyle habits.

The recruitment targets adults under the age of 65 who do not have chronic diseases. Those who have already been diagnosed with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or dyslipidemia, or who are currently taking medication for these diseases, are excluded.

Citizens wishing to participate must call the Health Promotion Division of the Yeongju City Public Health Center to schedule a health checkup. They must first undergo a preliminary fitness test at the National Fitness 100 Certification Center. Afterward, they will visit the public health center for a health checkup and an initial consultation with an expert before final selection.

Selected participants will be provided with a wrist-type activity tracker (smartwatch) that syncs with the mobile app. Using this device, they will record lifestyle information such as step count, heart rate, meal and exercise logs, and receive regular, personalized consultations and feedback from experts.

Hyun Sujin, Head of the Health Promotion Division, stated, "We will actively support citizens in forming healthy lifestyle habits in their daily lives and preventing chronic diseases in advance through consultations with experts in each field. We hope many citizens will show interest and participate."
