Delivering Carnations and Sponsored Goods to 400 Seniors Nationwide for 15 Consecutive Years
On May 8, KB Kookmin Card announced that, in celebration of Parents' Day, it had delivered carnations and sponsored goods to more than 400 elderly individuals affiliated with 20 Senior Welfare Centers for the Elderly Living Alone nationwide.
With the voluntary participation of employees, the company prepared and delivered baskets of carnation soap flowers, rice, ready-to-eat meals, and health foods to seniors in need of care.
The "Connecting Hearts with Vulnerable Seniors" program, which KB Kookmin Card has continued for 15 years, is a project that pairs employees with seniors requiring care to provide emotional support and deliver sponsored goods. This program is conducted in cooperation with the Senior Welfare Centers for the Elderly Living Alone.
A representative from KB Kookmin Card stated, "We hope this sponsorship will bring warmth to seniors in the care blind spot," and added, "We plan to continue sharing activities that provide practical assistance to vulnerable groups in need of care and mutual growth."
