Social Insurance Premiums, Electricity Bills, and Telephone Bills to Be Added in the First Half of This Year
On May 8, Toss Bank announced that it has newly revamped and launched its "Tax and Utility Bill Payment" service, which allows users to view and pay taxes and certain utility bills directly within the application (app).
The Toss Bank "Tax and Utility Bill Payment" service was introduced to enable customers to pay various taxes and fines they are required to pay in real life. With this latest update, Toss Bank has significantly expanded the range of payments, now including water and sewage fees as well as local taxes nationwide.
Toss Bank first launched the service in July of last year, allowing users to view and pay national taxes such as customs duties, comprehensive income tax, and value-added tax, as well as government fines from the National Police Agency, penalty charges, and patent fees?all at once and instantly. With this expansion to local taxes and more, the service name has changed from "National Tax, Customs, and Fine Payment" to "Tax and Utility Bill Payment."
Customers can easily access the service through the "All" tab in the Toss app and then select "Tax and Utility Bill Payment." On the main screen of the service, users can immediately check which taxes are due and pay them instantly using their account.
The entire process is designed to be completed easily in about one minute. After payment, customers can view detailed records at any time, including the payment date and specific tax items.
Toss Bank plans to add major utility bill categories such as social insurance premiums, electricity bills, and telephone bills within the first half of this year. The bank aims to further enhance customer convenience by providing services with high demand among customers.
A Toss Bank representative stated, "The 'Tax and Utility Bill Payment' service is designed to support all aspects of customers' financial lives by maintaining Toss Bank's intuitive and convenient approach," adding, "We will continue to expand the range of payable everyday utility bills to further increase customer benefits."
Customers who prefer offline channels can also use their Toss Bank debit card to make payments at ATMs of other banks.
