LH to Openly Recruit 508 New Employees

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on May 8 that it will openly recruit 508 new employees this year. This includes 350 employees for grades 5 and 6, and 158 permanent contract (operational) positions, which is approximately 10% more than last year.

There are no restrictions regarding educational background, age, or work experience. However, for certain grade 5 technical and administrative positions, applicants must possess a relevant professional certification. For grade 6 positions, only those who have graduated from high school or are expected to graduate are eligible to apply. Starting with the unified announcement on this day, applications will be accepted in two rounds during this month and next month, followed by written tests and interviews.

The recruitment ratio for people with disabilities has been set at twice the legally mandated rate of 3.8%. All candidates with disabilities who meet the basic qualifications are eligible to take the written exam. Young adults preparing for self-reliance will receive additional points. Information can be obtained through online information sessions using KakaoTalk open chat rooms, a dedicated call center, and at the LH headquarters and the Southern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters. LH President Lee Hanjoon stated, "I hope this recruitment will help alleviate youth unemployment and revitalize the stagnant job market."
