Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pilho) announced on May 7 that, in celebration of Children's Day, it gifted a 'special day' to approximately 350 children from 10 child care facilities in the Gangwon and North Gyeongsang regions who were affected by disasters such as the 2022 East Coast wildfires and typhoons.
On this day, Hope Bridge organized a variety of recreational activities, including a large air bounce, card-flipping games, and limbo, so that the children could play freely. After the activities, gifts such as soccer balls, toys, clothing, and shoes?chosen by the children themselves?were also distributed.

These gifts were made possible through the support of members of the Honors Club, Hope Bridge's high-value donor group. The Honors Club not only celebrates Children's Day and Christmas, but has also been providing regular sponsorships in the form of one-on-one support for children under protection on their birthdays and other special occasions since 2024.
A, a 10-year-old boy who received the 'special day' gift, said, "I love soccer and wanted a soccer ball, so I'm really happy to receive this present. I also received gifts on my birthday and Christmas last year, so I'm very grateful to get another one for Children's Day."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed his gratitude by saying, "I am deeply thankful to the Honors Club members who always offer their support for children in disaster-affected areas," and added, "I hope that, on Children's Day, every child can feel that they are loved."
