This campaign was conducted in conjunction with Safety Inspection Day during the 2025 Intensive Safety Inspection period (April 14 to June 13). It aimed to promote the implementation of intensive safety inspections and encourage citizen participation, thereby revitalizing everyday safety checks and preventing various disasters and accidents.

In particular, the campaign distributed "voluntary safety inspection checklists" that can be used in daily life at home, school, and workplaces. By encouraging citizens to inspect potential hazards in their surroundings themselves, the city is actively fostering the spread of a practical, action-oriented safety culture.

A city official stated, "We hope that, starting from Safety Inspection Day on May 1, a citizen-led culture of safety inspections will spread." The official also requested, "Please show your interest and participate, as even small actions can prevent major disasters."

The Intensive Safety Inspection is a nationwide safety culture movement led by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, with participation from central government agencies, local governments, public institutions, and citizens. It involves focused safety inspections and promotion campaigns, as well as voluntary safety checks, targeting facilities with a high risk of disasters or accidents or those that are of significant public concern. Yangsan City plans to conduct repairs, reinforcements, and detailed safety diagnoses based on inspection results, making every effort to ensure practical safety.
