Sealy Bed Continues "Flower Class" for 6th Year in Yeoju, Supporting Local Flower Farms and Practicing ESG for Regional Growth Sealy Bed Operates 'Flower Class' for Six Years to Promote Mutual Growth in Yeoju Region

Global premium mattress brand Sealy Bed (CEO Yoon Jonghyo) is continuing its ESG activities for mutual growth in the region by hosting an employee-participation "Flower Class" in collaboration with local flower farms in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province for the sixth consecutive year, in celebration of Family Month.

According to Sealy Bed on May 8, this Flower Class was organized to support the flower farms in Yeoju, where the company's factory is located, and to offer employees a special opportunity to create memorable experiences with their families.

Employees created flower baskets to gift to their families using flowers purchased directly from Yeoju farms, providing local farmers with a stable sales channel and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.

Since 2020, Sealy Bed has held the Flower Class every May in Yeoju and has been practicing ESG management across various fields, including culture, environment, and local community. Last year, the company hosted a special concert at its Yeoju factory in collaboration with the KBS Symphony Orchestra. In April this year, Sealy Bed visited Buknae Elementary School’s Dochon Branch in Yeoju to hold a "visiting concert," continuing its cultural sharing activities.

In the environmental sector, sustainable practices are also being implemented. The company recycles waste wood for store interiors and actively utilizes recycled materials, putting eco-friendly management into practice.

Yoon Jonghyo, CEO of Sealy Bed, stated, "Growing together with the community, sharing culture, and protecting the environment are the brand values that Sealy Bed pursues," and added, "We will continue to expand our unique areas of ESG activities going forward."

Meanwhile, Sealy Bed is a global mattress brand with a 144-year history. Since 1950, the company has collaborated with orthopedic specialists to create a scientifically designed sleep environment. Sealy Bed holds the number one sales position in the U.S. market and has strengthened product safety and eco-friendliness, such as obtaining "Radon Safe Product" certification from the Korean Standards Association for all 92 models sold in Korea.
