Hongsung County Selected as Outstanding Institution for Rapid Execution in Water Supply and Sewage Sector

Achieved 40% Execution Rate in the First Quarter
Contributing to Revitalizing the Local Economy

Hongsung County announced on May 7 that it was selected as an outstanding institution in the first quarter of 2025 for the Local Public Enterprise Rapid Execution Evaluation in the water supply and sewage sector.

The Hongsung County Waterworks Office executed 14 billion KRW out of the 34.9 billion KRW subject to rapid execution in the first quarter, achieving an execution rate of 40% and being recognized for its contribution to revitalizing the local economy.

The Waterworks Office is expected to receive incentives such as additional points in the local public enterprise management evaluation, a special grant of 20 million KRW, and a ministerial commendation.

Han Jaekyo, head of the county's Waterworks Office, stated, "This evaluation result is the outcome of our proactive budget execution efforts," and added, "We will continue to do our best for prompt and systematic project management and stable water supply."
