4FACT, a brand specializing in body cameras, announced on May 7 that it has signed a 'Strategic Business Agreement (MOU) for Strengthening Security of Video Data' with icerti, a company specializing in video security and encryption technology.
The core of this agreement is a 'full-cycle (shooting-recording-storage-management) video security solution' that encrypts body camera footage in real time during recording and prevents tampering or forgery. The two companies plan to promote the introduction of the full-cycle video security solution and business cooperation, focusing on public institutions, industrial sites, and law enforcement sectors where security is required.
4FACT is a specialized brand that develops and supplies body cameras for law enforcement, industrial safety, and public sectors. With strengths such as high-resolution video and robust hardware design, the company is expanding its presence in the domestic body camera market. In particular, 4FACT has recently focused on building integrated solutions that combine video security and management systems, earning recognition for its expertise and technological capabilities.
icerti, which signed the business agreement, is a security company with over 10 years of expertise in video and document encryption technology. Based on a low-power, ultra-high-speed encryption module certified by the National Intelligence Service's KCMVP, the company possesses multiple proprietary technologies such as frame-level real-time video encryption technology (i-VPM) and a drone video tampering prevention system (EDRON-VIEW). Currently, icerti supplies video security solutions for a variety of devices, including CCTV, black boxes, and drones, and has the technological capability to ensure the reliability and integrity of video as legal evidence.
Through this MOU, 4FACT plans to introduce a video security system specialized for body cameras, thereby launching a highly reliable body camera product line tailored for security-sensitive fields such as law enforcement, industrial safety, and public institutions.
In particular, the real-time encryption technology is expected to prevent video leaks in advance and further enhance the reliability of body camera footage used as legal evidence.
A representative from 4FACT stated, "This collaboration is not just a simple technology partnership, but the beginning of jointly establishing a 'standard' for video security," adding, "We will lead the body camera market where security technology is applied."
Meanwhile, from January to May 2025, 4FACT has sold more than 30,000 body cameras, continuing its rapid growth. The company has supplied a variety of products, including LTE-based real-time transmission body cameras, to major domestic conglomerates and public institutions, earning recognition for both its technological capability and reliability. By further strengthening its security technology through this agreement, 4FACT is emerging as a brand that sets a new standard for video devices.
