An Interactive Festival Uniting Residents and Neighbors
Buk-gu District Office Supports with Special Performances
A cultural festival inviting residents from neighboring communities to join apartment residents is drawing attention. In an era where people often pass by each other without even exchanging greetings, this event stands out as it brings together apartment residents and their neighbors, breaking down barriers and fostering a sense of community.
Forena Busan Deokcheon in Deokcheon-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, announced on May 7 that it will host the "Culture Day" festival within the apartment complex on May 10.
This event, organized by the residents' representative council, is designed as a cultural experience festival where both residents and local community members can come together. The apartment complex will come alive with a variety of programs, including performances, hands-on booths, and a game zone.
Buk-gu District Office in Busan is also offering support for this neighborhood festival by providing gifts. Performances by local cultural and arts groups are scheduled, giving residents the opportunity to experience high-quality culture in their daily lives.
Additionally, there will be hands-on booths and family game zones that all age groups can enjoy. The event aims to foster communication between generations, as well as empathy and a sense of connection among neighbors.
On the day of the event, Forena Busan Deokcheon residents will receive snack set coupons that include coffee and walnut pastries, and a variety of prize draw events will also take place.
Many of the experience programs will be open to local residents as well, making this an inclusive festival created together by the apartment community and the local neighborhood.
A representative from the Forena Busan Deokcheon residents' council said, "As interactions between neighbors are becoming less frequent, we organized this event with the hope of reviving a warm community culture starting within the apartment complex."
Chairperson Hwang Yeonju stated, "We will continue to host a variety of open events that connect residents and the local community in the future."
This festival reflects the purpose of the "Culture Day" campaign by providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy culture within their daily lives. Buk-gu District Office is supporting the event's content, including performance programs.
