He explained, "The Muan County Council is closely connected to the lives of residents through various activities such as enacting ordinances, reviewing budgets, and monitoring administration."
During the lecture, Lee also addressed current local issues such as the relocation of the Gwangju military airport, the shortage of agricultural water, and the expansion of welfare for the elderly, drawing significant interest from the seniors in attendance.
The seniors who attended the lecture showed active interest by asking a variety of questions about council activities they had been curious about, and Lee Hosung responded sincerely, engaging in meaningful communication.
Lee Hosung stated, "Going forward, I will focus the council's efforts on improving welfare for the elderly and advancing the development of Muan County through the enactment of policies and ordinances that provide practical benefits to seniors." He added, "We will create a warm-hearted council that breathes with the residents and represents their voices."
He further emphasized, "On issues directly related to the lives, property, and quality of life of our residents, we will prioritize the will of the people and respond responsibly at the council level."
The Muan County Council plans to continue strengthening communication with various groups and take the lead in implementing policies that residents can truly feel.
