On May 7, the city announced that, in preparation for the festival's opening, it had planted 500,000 spring flowers, including lupinus, petunia, and ranunculus, throughout Gwanghalluwon, the Yocheon riverside, and the downtown area, creating a vibrant landscape.

Among these, the 8-meter-tall 'Chunhyang and Mongryong floral sculptures' and the 'Full Moon sculpture symbolizing the beginning of Chunhyang and Mongryong's love' installed between Seungwolgyo and Chunhyanggyo bridges along the Yocheon River drew significant attention as popular photo spots, with many visitors sharing their experiences on social media.

In addition, during the festival, visitor experience programs held at the canola flower field near Seungsagyo Bridge, together with the floral displays, were also met with high enthusiasm. Families, friends, and couples dressed in school uniforms took photos among the canola flowers, creating cherished memories.

Furthermore, for the first time, a 'Milky Way Night Illumination' stretching approximately 1.7 kilometers along the Yocheon River was installed, captivating tourists with its enchanting atmosphere and leaving a lasting impression.

Mayor Choi Kyungsik stated, "The creation of floral landscapes is evolving beyond mere aesthetics into cultural content that embodies tradition and emotion," adding, "We will continue to enhance Namwon's unique identity by designing spaces that highlight the region's natural beauty and stories."
