Mobicsociety Center, a Complex Media Center, Opens in Hwaseong

Providing Equipment, Education, and Space
So Anyone from Homemakers to Office Workers Can Take On the Challenge

Mobicsociety Center, a Complex Media Center, Opens in Hwaseong

A new creative space where anyone can challenge themselves as a content creator is opening in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

This space, currently being developed under the name "Mobicsociety Center," is a complex media center designed to make it easy for the general public to learn and try their hand at digital content such as one-person media, YouTube, blogs, and SNS marketing.

Even without filming equipment or professional training, anyone with just a smartphone will be able to participate in hands-on programs that teach video production, content monetization, and SNS-based small business marketing, and actually generate income from these activities.

The center is especially focused on providing accessible and practical content monetization education and infrastructure for women with career interruptions, full-time homemakers, those preparing to re-enter the workforce, and residents seeking new opportunities in the local community.

The programs are characterized by their focus on "what is possible" with small-scale, low-cost activities, such as creating vlogs with a smartphone, recording daily life in short videos, and branding and selling small items independently through hands-on practice.

A center representative explained, "The goal of this space is to create a community where people who felt overwhelmed about trying something new, or those who wanted to start but found it difficult to do so alone, can learn and try together."

Inside the center, there will be a small-scale filming studio, a quiet editing space, and a community room for lectures and networking.

Currently, trial classes and preliminary training are being prepared for pilot operation. After the official opening, the center plans to successively introduce community-based initiatives such as neighborhood-run exhibitions, one-day classes, and video screenings, so that local residents can build their own content ecosystem.

This project is the first offline space presented by Mobicsociety, an organization that originated from the blockchain project "Bitmobic," aiming to foster creators and strengthen media capabilities.

Based on operational experience accumulated in a blockchain-based ecosystem that integrates governance, participation, and creation, the center aims to establish a more practical and welcoming content space in Hwaseong.

The center is planning not only programs open to all local residents, but also a system to provide sustainable creative infrastructure and a sense of pride. This includes issuing digital certificates (NFTs) to participants who meet certain criteria, offering benefits such as use of the center's facilities, and supporting exhibition and sales opportunities.

"Courage over technology, will over equipment." This phrase currently serves as the unofficial slogan of Mobicsociety Center.

This space, designed for those who may lack experience or equipment but want to start with just the desire to try, is showing the potential to become a new platform that connects content and people in the local community, going beyond a simple educational or rental facility.

Mobicsociety Center is located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and plans to gradually launch regular programs for the general public, starting with an opening briefing session in May.
