The Royal Palaces and Tombs Center of the Cultural Heritage Administration and the National Heritage Promotion Agency announced on May 7 that the 'Suragan Tasting Empathy' event will be held at Gyeongbokgung Palace from May 28 to June 5. The event will take place in the Sojubang area, the palace kitchen of Gyeongbokgung, and will feature royal cuisine, traditional performances, and games.
The program is divided into 'Dadam (Tea Conversation) - Tasting Empathy' and 'Sikdarak (Gastronomic Pleasure) - Tasting Empathy.' The former allows participants to enjoy royal desserts while listening to Korean traditional music performances. The latter offers an opportunity to taste royal cuisine at the Oesojubang. There will also be a 'Kitchen Alley' introducing traditional snacks.
Participation is determined by lottery. From 2:00 p.m. on May 8 to May 13, those interested can apply through Ticketlink. Winners will be able to select their preferred date and session for reservation. Each account (ID) is limited to one application.
