Hyundai Card announced on May 7 that it will be presenting a variety of cultural events in May.

Hyundai Card to Hold David Salle's First Retrospective Exhibition in Korea

At Hyundai Card Storage, the first retrospective exhibition in Korea of contemporary artist David Salle, covering his 50-year career, will be held from May 10 to September 7. David Salle is known for continuously expanding the boundaries of painting by recombining images he directly observes in popular culture and commercial advertising with various art historical references.

At the Hyundai Card Art Library, on May 31, the film "Space Program, Director's Cut," which reconstructs the history of world-renowned artist Tom Sachs's iconic "Space Program" project, will be screened. This documentary film is edited from scenes depicting the process of space exploration within the Space Program.

Tom Sachs's Space Program can also be experienced at the "Hyundai Card Culture Project 29: Tom Sachs Exhibition," which will be held at Exhibition Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul until September 7.

At Hyundai Card Understage, "Son Minsoo Curated 25: Park Jonghae" will take place on May 23. Pianist Park Jonghae will perform works by Haydn, Schubert, and Ravel, interpreted from his unique perspective. Audiences will be able to witness the intense presence and delicate expressiveness he has demonstrated on prestigious stages around the world, including with the Belgian National Orchestra.

On May 25, "Hyundai Card Curated 98: Atarayo" will be held at Hyundai Card Understage. This marks the first solo concert in Korea by Atarayo, a three-member mixed-gender rock band from Japan.

At Hyundai Card Music Library, the "Rolling Stone Collection" exhibition, showcasing the world’s leading popular music magazine that highlights music, culture, and society as a whole, will be on display until the end of this month.
