According to Wando County, this year's festival was held over four days from May 3 to May 6 at Wando Beach Park and the Marine Sports Center. Coinciding with the Children's Day holiday, the festival saw large crowds from the very first day, filling up parking lots in the area. A variety of hands-on activities and seafood food markets drew the attention of many visitors.
The sea fishing experience offered during the festival proved to be the most popular attraction. Many tourists lined up continuously to catch fish themselves using bamboo fishing rods and then cook and eat their catch on site, enjoying this unique activity. Family-oriented experiences such as amusement rides for children, seaweed gimbap making, and mobile crafting also received enthusiastic responses.

The official 'Healing Wave Blue Concert' featured a performance by YB (Yoon Dohyun Band), one of Korea's top bands. Even though it rained on the day of the concert, the audience filled the venue and responded with loud applause and cheers to YB's passionate performance. Representative Park Jiwon, who attended the concert, shared his thoughts, saying, "Watching Yoon Dohyun Band was a liberating experience. The high-quality music and resonant lyrics were impressive, as always."
In addition to Representative Park, Wando County Governor Shin Woochul and many local politicians attended the festival, participating in major programs such as the traditional rowing competition and engaging with local residents.
However, some experience booths were closed early due to continuous rain, which was disappointing for some visitors. Some tourists also commented that a more diverse range of programs would be needed for next year.
A Wando County official stated, "We are grateful that so many people from all over the country visited despite the rainy weather. Next year, we will address any shortcomings and present an even richer and safer festival."
