YG Confirms July Concert After Careful Consideration

Group WINNER will hold a concert for the first time in three years and three months, marking the end of their military hiatus (military service + hiatus).

On May 7, their agency YG Entertainment (hereafter YG) announced, "WINNER will hold a concert this July, their first in three years and three months," and added, "We secured the concert venue a long time ago and have been preparing to deliver a highly polished performance."

WINNER members Kim Jinwoo and Lee Seunghoon completed their alternative social service and were discharged on December 31, 2021 and January 14, 2022, respectively. Kang Seungyoon completed his mandatory military service in the Army and was discharged on December 19, 2024. Meanwhile, Song Minho, who has been serving as an alternative social service worker at the Mapo Community Convenience Facility since March 2023, became embroiled in allegations of poor service due to frequent sick leave as he approached his discharge in December 2024.

This concert will feature Kang Seungyoon, Kim Jinwoo, and Lee Seunghoon on stage. Song Minho, who is currently awaiting the results of a police investigation, will not participate in the performance.

YG stated, "We deliberated extensively on whether to proceed with the concert," and continued, "Ultimately, we decided to go ahead as planned, reflecting both the fans who have waited a long time for WINNER's return and the members' strong desire to meet their fans."

They added, "Because this was not an easy decision, we ask for your warm support and encouragement," and said, "Further details will be announced separately at a later date."
