RaonSecure Resumes Trading After Reverse Stock Split... Strengthens Growth Foundation in Mobile ID, Post-Quantum Cryptography, and AI Security

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (co-CEOs Lee Soonhyung and Lee Jeonga) announced that it has completed a 5-to-1 reverse stock split and will resume stock trading based on the new shares starting May 7, 2025. With this reverse split, the par value per share has been adjusted from 500 KRW to 2,500 KRW, and the total number of issued shares has been reduced from 56,020,000 to 11,200,000.

RaonSecure emphasized that this reverse stock split is not only aimed at adjusting the appropriate number of circulating shares, but also marks a significant turning point for the company. The company plans to further enhance its business structure by focusing on core areas such as mobile ID and digital identity and qualification authentication, zero trust security, and premium penetration testing. Additionally, it aims to secure mid- to long-term growth drivers such as post-quantum cryptography and AI security (deepfake detection), thereby reorganizing corporate value and strengthening market leadership.

The company has applied its blockchain-based integrated digital identity and qualification authentication platform technology to the 'mobile resident registration card' issuance system for 45 million citizens. RaonSecure also plays a key role in expanding digital identity verification and qualification certification businesses in both private and public sectors, including the ISIC international student card and Chung-Ang University degree certificates. After successfully completing digital ID projects in Indonesia and Costa Rica, the company is now accelerating its entry into the global digital ID market in regions such as Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

To respond to the era of Zero Trust 2.0 and the National Security Network System (N2SF), RaonSecure is advancing its major solutions, such as the multi-factor authentication platform 'OnePass', the smart work security management platform 'OneGuard', and the integrated account privilege management platform 'TouchEn WiseAccess'. The company is also strengthening its transition to cloud-based SaaS. Through these efforts, RaonSecure plans to provide next-generation authentication and access control systems optimized for cloud and national security network environments, thereby enhancing its market competitiveness.

In addition, as threats from cyberattacks such as hacking and malware distribution have surged recently, there is growing interest in RaonSecure's WhiteHat services as a government-designated information security specialist service provider.

The company, centered around its WhiteHat Center, provides premium penetration testing and security consulting services to public, financial, and corporate clients. It has also launched the subscription-based penetration testing service 'Raon PTaaS', actively responding to domestic and international market demand. By proactively identifying vulnerabilities exposed to potential cyberattacks, RaonSecure contributes to protecting the information assets of both the nation and enterprises.

Meanwhile, RaonSecure was recently selected in the medical sector for the '2025 Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Pilot Transition Support Project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), and has begun developing Korea's first open medical data platform based on PQC. Through this, the company plans to enhance medical data security by applying PQC to inter-hospital data transmission, mobile healthcare apps, and digital therapeutics (DTx) platforms, and to expand technology adoption to various fields such as telemedicine and IoT healthcare.

The company is also advancing deepfake detection technology using generative AI. RaonSecure has equipped its personal vaccine app 'Raon Mobile Security' with deepfake detection features, enabling any smartphone user to easily check for deepfakes via video files or URLs. The company is currently developing deep voice detection and real-time deepfake detection technologies as well. Through these efforts, RaonSecure aims to protect the information assets of individuals and businesses from phishing threats that exploit real-time video calls, video conferences, and consultation calls.

RaonSecure was recognized for its contributions to the development of the security and authentication industry, such as establishing the national mobile ID system and innovating identity authentication through FIDO biometric authentication, and received the Presidential Commendation for Information and Communication Merit at the '2025 Science and ICT Day' commemorative ceremony.

A RaonSecure representative stated, "This reverse stock split is part of a shareholder-friendly policy to ensure that the company's value is appropriately evaluated in the market by stabilizing stock supply and demand and reducing price volatility," adding, "We will further solidify our foundation for sustainable growth by demonstrating our technological prowess and competitiveness not only in Korea but also in the global security and authentication market."
