For low-income students, international students, and transfer students... Applications accepted from June 14 to 18
Daejeon City announced that it will recruit 82 university student interns to experience practical work at city hall and affiliated public institutions during the upcoming summer vacation period.
The recruitment targets are as follows: 32 university students from low-income households; 41 students who are either registered residents of Daejeon or currently enrolled at universities located in Daejeon; 1 international student or a university student with a disability registration card; and 8 students who, after enrolling at a university in Daejeon, have reported a change of residence to Daejeon.
The city plans to select three times the number of available positions, and then comprehensively evaluate candidates based on household size, academic year, age, and eligibility before announcing the final successful applicants on June 18.
The selected students will be assigned to Daejeon City Hall and 25 affiliated institutions from July 1 to July 25, working for 19 days on public tasks such as administrative support.
Koh Hyundeok, Director of Education Policy and Strategy at Daejeon City, said, "This will be a great opportunity for students to develop practical skills and earn tuition during the vacation period."
